Het Selecteren.
We beginnen deze tutorial met het selecteren van de huid. Later in deze tutorial kan je kiezen of je de huid donkerder wilt maken of dat je hem lichter wilt maken.
1. Open een eigen foto of gebruik deze:

2. Selecteer de Quick Mask Mode 
(deze vind je onderaan je menu links)
3. Zorg dat je voorgrondkleur zwart is.
4. Selecteer nu de Brush Tool
5. ‘Kleur’ nu de huid in. Dit wordt zo meteen je selectie.
6. Als je klaar bent, klik je weer op de Quick Mask Mode . Je hebt nu een selectie.
7. Kies het toverstokje of een andere selectietool en druk op je rechtermuisknop in de selectie. Kies voor Select Inverse.
Het donkerder maken van de huid.
Als je niet wilt leren hoe je de huid donkerder maakt, maar hoe je de huid lichter maakt, scroll dan een stukje naar beneden en start bij stap 8b.
8a. Ga bovenin naar Image > Adjustments > Replace Color.
9a. Je krijgt nu een scherm voor je. Als je nu met de muis over de afbeelding gaat, krijg je een pipetje in beeld. Selecteer de donkerste kleur (schaduw) van de huid.
10a. Zet in het scherm Fuzziness op 200. Saturation doe je iets omhoog, en de Lightness doe je omlaag.
Resultaat:
Het lichter maken van de huid.
Als je niet wilt leren hoe je de huid lichter maakt, maar hoe je de huid donkerder maakt, scroll dan een stukje naar boven en start bij stap 8a.
8a. Ga bovenin naar Image > Adjustments > Replace Color.
9a. Je krijgt nu een scherm voor je. Als je nu met de muis over de afbeelding gaat, krijg je een pipetje in beeld. Selecteer de lichtste kleur van de huid.
10a. Zet in het scherm Fuzziness op 200. Saturation doe je iets omlaag, en de Lightness doe je omhoog.
Resultaat:
De huid een onrealistische kleur geven.
Bij de stappen hierboven hebben we alleen maar de verzadiging en de helderheid aangepast. Als je de huid bijvoorbeeld groen, blauw of paars wilt maken, sleep je bij Replace Color het balkje van Hue heen en weer.
